On a lease contract hardware swap within 24 hours is included — we send a replacement by express courier, you plug it in, your payments keep flowing. Outright purchase comes with a 12-month service warranty plus optional extension.
Yes and no. Per payment point you need a terminal — so per service team member who collects mobile payments, plus counter terminals for the stationary till. But all terminals share the same Yoordi account and the same reporting; you don't pay a second contract for additional devices.
PAX A920 and A77 are rugged, IP-rated and hold up to rain, dust and falls. For extreme outdoor conditions (festivals, beach) we recommend the TWINT reader plus an iPad case — affordable and weatherproof. Battery packs for long shifts come as an add-on.
In theory yes, but we don't recommend it. Non-certified devices can block Yoordi Pay updates or be incompatible with our acquirer setup in edge cases. If you have existing hardware, talk to your account manager first — we'll check compatibility on a case-by-case basis.
